Spotted Online – Construction King Transforming Robot Review at CollectionDX

I posted my own Construction King review after a visit to Hong Kong back in 2011, and now I see that CollectionDX’s very own Josh has shared his thoughts on the toy in this Construction King review. Looks like Josh and I are on the same page — though I may be a bit more excited and happy with the toy than he is — and in the review I learned about a book titled “Super B Class Transform Robot War Dagangu” . . . and now I want that book! Hobby Link Japan lists the book as out of stock, but with any luck someone out there will have a copy and take pity on me.

Anyway, check the CollectionDX review if you’re at all a fan of transforming robot toys. This one is what’s commonly known as a “partformer” (see the TFWiki), but as a fan of the Marchon Road Bots from 1984 (Loadorr review here, Hookorr review here, and Cementorr review here) the “partformeryiness” of it doesn’t bother me at all. It’s truly a fun toy design.
