Dollsfigure “Infidel” Outfit Sets for Male and Female 12-Inch Scale Action Figures
Cotswold Collectibles has shared pics of two upcoming 12-inch scale action figure outfit sets, both of which look like they should only work together as a team. The Infidel Outfit Set III photos show both male set and female set designs, but at the moment there are only photos and no information on pricing or release dates.
I’m assuming that we don’t see outfit sets for 6-inch scale action figures is because (many) collectors are not fans of cloth with their 6-inch figures and that tooling soft plastic accessories is just too expensive for short runs. Add to that the variety of sizes when it comes to that 1/12 scale — many toy lines are slightly different in size — and the inability to use cloth for clothing makes it near-impossible to produce sets for the smaller size. 12-inch scale action figure collectors seem far more willing to accept cloth.
