Uncommon Cold with G.I. Joe
Hasbro’s G.I. Joe “Extreme Condition” action figure packs from 2009 — Cobra Arctic Assault Squad* and Cobra Desert Assault Squad* — are great sets that I wish had performed a bit better. I’m not sure exactly why this idea never took off, but the problem was in no way the design of the sets or with Hasbro’s advertising . . . as this ad from a 2009 issue of Tomart’s Action Figure Digest proves. Who wouldn’t want the pack after seeing this ad?

I love this set. I think I sold a few of the figures from it a year or two ago, but I still have some of them. It was really well designed, especially the snow serpent variants.
@Barbecue17 – One of these days I’ll have to build a display of arctic Cobra soldiers and vehicles. Maybe Hasbro will try something like this again one day and give us another team.
