“Reinforcements from Cybertron!”
This 1984 Transformers flyer advertising the Powerdashers, Omnibots, and Time Warrior was included in first wave Transformers toys and gave us all a reason to collect the “robot points” that were on the various toy packages. You can see a smaller scan of this flyer and learn a lot more at the TFWiki, but for something very special I suggest taking a look at the Powerdasher art at Botch’s Transformers Box Art Archive.
Damn, that upcoming IDW book collecting Generation One packaging art, Transformers Legacy*, cannot reach my hands fast enough.

Those old catalogs nearly bring tears to my eyes. LOL I think it’s the nostalgia of all the time I used to spend poring over these things as a kid, admiring the imaginative art and salivating over the prospect of acquiring those elusive, mysterious figures in the mail.
@Kevin – One of the things I love about the new TMNT line is that the toys include catalogs. I really think toy makers are missing out these days by not creating more catalogs to pack in with the figures.
It wasn’t until recently I found out the Powerdasher was a legit Transformers toy, I can’t remember where I got one as a kid, though I definitely sent away for the Autobot watch, which was awesome until one half broke off 😀
@bighatdino – It always seemed to me like the Powerdashers were at more yard sales than I would have expected when I was a kid. I’d love to know how many Hasbro shipped out; that was a lot of robot points mailed their way!
