Thank You, John!!!
Many of you already know that my day job keeps me busy at Steve Jackson Games, but what you may not know is that in addition to a fantastic staff I also get to work regularly with John Kovalic, a man so very nice that it’s going to get him into trouble. Seriously, John is far too kind and giving and often goes far beyond any reasonable expectations in giving his fans what they desire and in meeting the insane deadlines I set out for everyone.
Recently, in a post at his blog, John again demonstrated to the world just how very generous he is when he gave me far, far too much credit for my work with Munchkin. In his post, John wrote:
Phil Reed is the Chief Operating Officer at Steve Jackson Games. But I prefer calling him Munchkin’s Shepherd. He puts in an enormous amount of hard work behind the scenes, making the business of Munchkin roll along at a seemingly effortless pace. Of course, it’s the exact opposite of “effortless,†but you’d never know that, looking from the outside, in.
Wow. I’m not even sure where or how to begin saying thank you for this, John, so I’ll just leave it with: Thank you. I hope you make it to Austin soon so I can thank you in person . . . and take you to Frank. We need more time together to enjoy amazing food and plan future evils.

Awesome! Thats some high praise. I’m not really a huge gamer, but I had the opportunity to play Munchkin once. It was a lot of fun! I would like to play it again!
