Collecting All of the Star Wars Kenner Jumbo Action Figures
You know, when I stop and look at the entire Gentle Giant (website*, Twitter) series of Star Wars Kenner Jumbo Vintage action figures (Amazon.com search*) and realize how very close I am to a complete set it makes me decide:
It’s time to find those missing figures!!!
I’ve already got every single release that has been announced on pre-order, and many of the already-released figures, but as of this exact moment I am missing six of the figures that have been released: Luke Skywalker, Obi Wan Kenobi, Jawa, Darth Vader, Lando Calrissian, and the Sand People action figure. And more importantly, as of this exact moment, the list of missing toys is down to four. Yes, I just now located a Jawa (cloth) and Vader for reasonable prices. Come on, mail system!!!
What is sad is that for all of the figures in the line I own I’ve only reviewed a handful of them:
- Blue Snaggletooth review here
- C-3PO review here
- Boba Fett review here
- Hammerhead review here
- Snaggletooth review at DoomKick
- Gamorrean Guard review here
- Chewbacca review here

When do the Jumbo-scale classic vehicles come out?
Oh, I’d be SO in for a jumbo mini-rig!
@Kevin and Jay – When Gentle Giant gets around to making a scaled vehicle I’m kinda hoping for the Land Speeder. It’s iconic, was the first small vehicle for the line, and probably has the best chance at strong sales.
I’d also be overjoyed if they produced a Dewback!
A Dewback and landspeeder would rule! Also, a Taun Taun. And it should go without saying that it needs the slit in the belly so you can stuff jumbo Hoth Luke inside!
@Jay – They do have a Wampa coming this year.
So if they made a Millennium Falcon, how big would it be? lol
