Kickstarter – Ember Equipment Modular Backpack

Thanks to a tip from Matt Doughty (Onell Design), who is well aware of my insane fascination with backpacks and messenger bags, I now know of the Ember Modular Urban Pack project. With six more days to go on Kickstarter the project has met its goal and more, and the organizers are now promising everyone a rain cover if the project hits $350,000 in support.

The military-like look of the backpack, as well as the magnetic hardpoints and all of the modular accessories, makes this maybe the neatest backpack I’ve seen yet on Kickstarter. This thing looks like it should be used by members of the G.I. Joe team! Just watch the video and you’ll quickly see what I mean.
