Acid Rain Agurts Action Figure Pre-Orders Open at BBTS
I last mentioned the 3.75-inch scale Acid Rain series back in March (posted here), and now I see that even before the first wave ships a new action figure has been listed for pre-order. The Agurts Infantry Figure, priced at $23, gives us an idea of what we can expect from a G.I. Joe-dry market . . . several manufacturers to step in and try to snatch the G.I. Joe collectors who are willing to pay $20 or $30 for a 3.75-inch scale figure.
Between the Acid Rain series and the Marauder Kickstarter project (Kickstarter page) there’s plenty of fun for military 3.75-inch scale figure collectors, but I do kinda wonder how far either of these two lines will be able to go when they’re primarily focused on capturing collectors. I guess we’ll know soon enough.
