McFarlane Toys Alien & Predator Box Set Ad from 2002
From a 2002 issue of the Hellspawn comic book comes this ad for the McFarlane Toys Alien & Predator box set*. 2002 was definitely a different era, a time when action figures sold well enough that McFarlane was producing more toys than anyone could realistically buy . . . unlike today when the company has pretty much abandoned comic store shelves and instead focuses on what they can move the most of through mass stores.
And looking at this ad now has me wondering what McFarlane is advertising in their comic books these days. Time for a trip to the comic store! I haven’t bought one of McFarlane’s comics in . . . well, I can’t remember the last time.
