Spotted Online – 1997 G.I. Joe TRU Exclusive Cobra Rage Review at JoMi toys
Last released as the Cobra Fury* in the G.I. Joe: Pursuit of Cobra series, the 1990 Cobra Rage is one of the cooler Cobra tanks that Hasbro has ever released. Wide, ground-hugging, and loaded with weapons, the Cobra Rage is one hell of a sweet urban assault vehicle.
And in 1997, in celebration of the 15th anniversary of A Real American Hero, Hasbro released a ToysRUs exclusive version of the Cobra Rage . . . which you can get a very close look at in this review at JoMi toys. Those 15th anniversary colors look incredible, and I love the shot (shown above) of the 1990 and 1997 versions of the toy in one place.
I’ve actually got this toy and should post it to battlegrip.com to give all of you another opportunity to see the vehicle. I should also be sure that when I do post it I add the Pursuit of Cobra Alley-Viper (review here) to the scene since the two go together so perfectly.
