Acid Rain Speeder MKII (Sand) Quick Thoughts
I opened my first Acid Rain toy last night, the Speeder MKII (Sand) transforming vehicle, and I’m quite happy with the quality of the toy. It was pricey (I ordered mine from Big Bad Toy Store), but the toy’s weathering paintwork is gorgeous and the plastic and overall feel of the toy is great.
I’ll work up a review once I finish cleaning up all of the photos that I snapped, but for now I can narrow my thoughts down to:
- Nice transformation design. Really easy-to-follow instructions and everything snaps nicely into place in vehicle mode.
- The included action figure is nicely-articulated and the joints are tight without being frozen.
- Speaking of joints, the ratcheting joints on the Speeder MKII pop and click wonderfully and the balance is better than I expected. Even standing on the wheels!
If you’ve been curious about this line then so far my thoughts are all positive. I’ll have more to say after I play with it more and prep all of the pics for an actual review.
