Vans X Star Wars Skate Commercial

In celebration of the upcoming Star Wars skate shoes by Vans (first mentioned here), Vans created this one minute commercial that shows us a Wookie skateboarding in a competition. A lot of love, time, and money went into this and I’m kinda amazed that the video doesn’t have more views. I suspect it just hasn’t made it onto the right site yet, and once one of the big news sites catches up we’ll see this climb to over a million views.

And don’t forget that pre-ordered shoes are going to ship with one of two different designer toys. Funko and Vans have worked together to bring us skater Vader and Fett toys, and with the toys packed randomly in orders I suspect these will be tough to find in a year or two. Hell, I’m tempted to order another pair or two of the shoes right now . . . both because the designs are cool and in the hopes of securing both of the Funko toys.
