G.I. Joe 50th Anniversary Pre-Orders Now Open at ToysRUs
If you missed out on some of the G.I. Joe 50th Anniversary sets when they were posted to Big Bad Toy Store (see “Does Fear Drive Sales?”) then you’ve got another chance: ToysRUs has opened pre-orders for some of the toy packs.
- G.I. Joe Heated Battle Pack
- G.I. Joe Night Marksmen Pack
- G.I. Joe The Viper’s Pit Pack
- G.I. Joe Battle Below Zero Set
Now comes the truly exciting part of this entire G.I. Joe 50th Anniversary event. Do the toys that sold out quickly at BBTS also sell out fast at ToysRUs, or have all of the “I missed out!” posts and complaints online actually have no true meaning at all? Time to sit back and see if that G.I. Joe Battle Below Zero Set is gone before the end of the weekend, or if we’re truly seeing that the dedicated G.I. Joe audience has dropped to a few thousand people.
I am sure Hasbro’s watching these sets very closely this weekend.
