Kickstarter – Legends of Cthulhu Retro Action Figure Toy Line
It looks like the ReAction 3.75-inch scale action figure series (Amazon.com search*) has some new competition for Kenner-style toys. Over at Kickstarter there’s now the Legends of Cthulhu Retro Action Figure Toy Line, four Kenner-like figures inspired by Cthulhu.
The set of four figures comes to $90, so if you’re into the retro toy movement (man, who would have guessed that would become a thing?) then you’ll want to take a closer look at the Kickstarter page and then consider supporting the project.
(And hey, how did there get to be so many action figure projects on Kickstarter at once?)

I have no use for “retro” action figures but the Spawn of Cthulu and the Deep One actually look pretty good. Too bad the only way to get people to buy 5 POA figures is to make the Kenner-like. The art is also much better than I’ve seen for most Kickstarter projects.
Those look pretty cool. However, small company or not, $90 for 4 figures? Pass.
