Oz Books at Second Story Books in Washington DC

For several years now Gina and I have talked about collecting the L. Frank Baum Oz books in hardcover, and after a couple of visits to Second Story Books in Washington DC we now have our first three Oz hardcovers. Also snagged at the store was the 1977 edition of The Oz Scrapbook*, which is turning out to be quite an entertaining read and makes a great companion to 100 Years of Oz* (which we grabbed a couple of years ago).

In addition to three Oz hardcovers we also grabbed the hardcover of Baum’s The Sea Fairies (Amazon.com search*); that should prove quite entertaining and if it’s anything like his American Fairy Tales* then it will be a fantastic buy.
