Kickstarter – 12-Inch Cthulhu Action Figure?
The Legends of Cthulhu Kickstarter project closes tomorrow, and with over $75,000 to go to the stretch goal to unlock the giant Cthulhu it’s looking grim for our toy boxes. But after watching the launch of the project a month ago we may all be a bit shocked over the next day; it’s not at all unreasonable to suggest that the project could hit the stretch goal . . . especially if the project backers announce the add-on amount for the giant Cthulhu figure.
And well before we unlock the Cthulhu beast-like figure — that kinda reminds me of the Return of the Jedi Rancor toy — we have the Author figure to unlock. An H.P. Lovecraft action figure as part of the line makes perfect sense to me, and if you’re backing the project at less than the $90 level you may want to up your pledge since at $90 and up you get this stretch goal as a free bonus.
Everyone who has backed at The Cultist Level or higher will receive The Author action figure that will be exclusively manufactured for our Kickstarter supporters. This item will not be produced again so this stretch goal will be quite a rare piece of Warpo memorabilia.
