Marvel Announces “Star Wars” Comic Omnibus for 2015
sciencefiction.com posts news of Marvel’s first plans for the Star Wars license with the planned publication of a 880-page omnibus in 2015. This giant book will collect the original 44 issues of Marvel’s Star Wars comic books of the seventies and eighties (plus the annual from that time) and that means everyone will need this for all of the gorgeous Carmine Infantino artwork.
Yes, even if you already own these comics — I’ve got them a few times, including in the Doomworld* and Dark Encounters* collections — you’re going to need this book. As the sciencefiction.com post says, we have no idea what extras will be included . . . but we can be damn sure there will be some extras.
