Affiliate Link – Judge Dredd Volume 1
Last night I reread IDW’s Judge Dredd Volume 1* and continue to be enamored with Nelson Daniel’s artwork on the series. Combine that art with the writing of Duane Swierczynski and this book is everything I could have hoped for. Awesome stuff; I think today I’ll steal some time to reread the second volume in the series.
(On a side note, the world continues to be tiny. I first worked with the Judge Dredd Volume 1* cover artist, Zach Howard, way back in 2000 and seeing how far he has come truly makes me happy. Zach’s a hell of a nice guy and talented artist and it’s great to see him getting more and better work.)
In the 22nd century, crime runs rampant in Mega-City One, home to over 400-million citizens, robots, criminals, and lunatics. The only line of defense between anarchy and chaos are… the Judges. And Judge Dredd is the toughest of them all. All new stories plus an introduction by John Wagner!

The IDW series any good? Thinking of ordering them.
@Mindless-Focus – I’ve read the first two trades. Very fun. Rogue robots and tech. Clones exploding. Violence everywhere! IDW did a great job in those first two trades. I now have 3 and 4 and will read those soon.
B&N let me down and didn’t have them. Ordering from amazon now.
@Mindless-Focus – It’s worth the order. I read Volume 3 yesterday and it’s as goofy and fun as the first two. Volume 3 has Dredd in the Cursed Earth going up against an amusement park.
