From an early 2012 Star Wars comic book comes this ad for the Star Wars Vintage Collection (Amazon.com search*), Hasbro’s Kenner-style packaging line of 3.75-inch scale action figures that made even the prequel trilogy action figures look all cool and retro.
Great packaging design and an awesome idea. Too bad the advertising didn’t also play with those old Kenner package designs; just imagine if the ads had been designed to look like the classic Kenner Star Wars catalogs . . .
