Beautiful Sculpture at Austin Art Garage

Austin Art Garage has a new batch of art in their gallery, including some wonderful sculptures by local artist Don Madden (blog).

These may be statues, yes, but the only thing stopping them from becoming resin toys is the fact that the artist hasn’t created a mold, filled it with resin, and then started releasing them as DIY pieces. The line between designer resin toy and artistic sculpture is pretty fuzzy if you ask me.
