Spotted Online – Salmoore at The Fwoosh
And the unofficial GoBots toys are here as we get a peek at Salmoore at The Fwoosh. This not-Cy-Kill transforming robot toy looks incredible in robot mode, but I dread the transformation since the review says:
“Speaking of his transformation, there’s a place or two that was a bit awkward on mine. And when I say awkward, I mean it was a bitch. When you put his arms behind his head, there’s a spot where it’s extremely tight, and by too tight I mean there was a significant amount of scraping.”
Damn. You know, I still believe that it’s the computer design of these transforming robot toys that is causing any transformation problems these days. It is way too easy for a designer to create a transformation design onscreen that looks neat but is a pain in real life. I kinda wish that they would stop using computers and go back to crafting these designs with old school machining tools and hand-driven design.

I am mightily intrigued by this figure despite the scraping issue (I suppose I just wouldn’t transform him, which is only a mild bummer; I’d have liked to have photographed Zartan or whoever riding his alt-mode, but for me GoBots and Transformers are robot toys.
I’m afraid to learn his price.
