Spotted Online – Orc-Man Conversion Kit for Masters of the Universe Classics
A few years ago I suggested that third-party makers may step in and start providing Masters of the Universe Classics series (Amazon.com search*) fans with unofficial toys. Kits were already happening back when I wrote that piece — “Masters of the Universe: Will Third Party Manufacturers Fill the Void?” — and while we’ve not yet seen full figures we are still seeing some amazing upgrade kits come from small-operation customizers.
For example, take a look at this review by Matthew K where he shows us the Orc-Man Conversion Kit that changes any Masters of the Universe basic male figure into a completely new character. Looks awesome, but when will someone step up and start mass-manufacturing these in China so that the upgrades are easier to get and priced just slightly lower?
