Spotted Online – 1987 Phantom Stranger Covers in B&W
After looking at Mike Mignola’s Phantom Stranger covers from 1987 (posted here) it feels appropriate that I direct you guys to get a peek at the covers to issue four and issue three in black and white.
Mignola’s a master of shape and shadow, and seeing these early examples of his work in black and white is a real treat for anyone who has ever wanted to attempt illustrating using Mignola’s technique as inspiration for their own work.
