Spotted Online – Kenner’s Six Million Dollar Man Ads from Comics
Check out this space1970 post to see a total of three different Six Million Dollar Man toy ads from the seventies. All three ads are a blast to look at, and seeing these leaves me with two thoughts I’ve had many times before:
- Toy ads from the seventies with illustrations look awesome.
- I wish I had a complete set of Kenner’s Six Million Dollar Man toys.
Knowing that #2 is impossible I would happily settle for a book collecting hi-res pics of all of the toys and hi-res scans of every catalog, flyer, and ad that Kenner created for their Six Million Dollar Man toy line. Someone get on that. I want that book!

I used to salivate over this ad, especially the dome-shaped Mission Control Center. But I was reading it in a hand-me-down comic book (The Challengers, I believe) and the toys were long gone from shelves.
I love the vintage toy ads you post!
@Adam – Thanks! I’ll post more as I track them down.
