1982 Eagle Force Commercial for Eagle Island Playset

With Mego’s Eagle Force action figures set to return (posted here) I’m once again thinking about those old diecast metal action figures of the eighties. I gave my initial thoughts on the toys over five years ago in a review, but today I’m turning my attention to the gigantic Eagle Island playset that’s featured in this 1982 commercial.

Great commercial, and looking this over eventually landed me at the Toys You Had Eagle Force page. I continue to be amazed at just how much Eagle Force gear was produced by Mego in the very short time that they had the line in stores. So many fun possibilities that were lost when the company died.
