Galaxy Warriors Ad Sheet!
The scan posted at GanguStars shows us the old Galaxy Warriors toys in a fun photo. These were “for use with” action figures of the eighties that fit right into the Masters of the Universe line, and if you’re not familiar with the series check out the line at Action Figure Archives and this Bootleg Zones video: Galaxy Warriors video.
Now what leaves me a little stumped is I’ve always thought the Galaxy Warriors were from Remco, but the line’s listed as made by Sungold. Weird. How did I overlook that and what made me think that Remco had made the Galaxy Warriors?
These are awesome! Wish I’d seen them back in the original MotU days. Warlord was about as far afield of He-Man that I let myself go. I love that they’re basically a Frazetta toyline!
