Spotted Online – Cut-Click Online Art and Design Magazine

Okay, ready for this one, guys? Matt Williams posted to Twitter a RT of a tweet from Cut-Click Magzine (website, Twitter) about accepting submissions for an upcoming issue. Well, I’d never heard of Cut-Click so that led to me poking around their website and looking at some issues (it’s a free PDF magazine).

When I hit issue seven I ran across an interview with an artist calling himself “Vietnamthemovie” (website, Twitter) which led me to find this:

Man, I love how Twitter has so many surprises hiding inside its never-ending stream of random posts.

I wonder if the guys over at Cut-Click are having any luck turning their magazine into a profitable venture. I love the idea of magazines, and wish PDF magazines could take off, but it really feels like blogs/news sites have a better chance at success. Sure, you have less control over the appearance, but webpages are easier for people to hop to and review than PDF pages are (which require either viewing online or downloading).
