1996 Star Wars In-Store Video from Kenner

Again we are reminded of what makes the internet so fantastic. Kenner’s Star Wars: Power of the Force line (Amazon.com search*) was the hottest action figure series in stores, and to help drive sales this video loop was created and played in Target stores. You can skip around in the video (there are commercial repeats), or maybe you just want to watch this completely through and remember a simpler time of almost two decades ago.

  1. Man, it’s crazy to think these are 20 years old… this is the stuff I collected all through my teens.

  2. My storage closet is jam packed with this line! I was thinking about it in 2013, when my wife was pregnant with our son, how awesome it was going to be to let him open everything. I’ve been collecting toys since around 1990, and have had to haul this stuff every time I moved, and now I get to let my son play with a lot of it. My wife and I are working on how to do it without him becoming a spoiled jerk. Like a rewards system or points you earn that can be used as currency at Dad’s Toy Shop. I never had a Millennium Falcon when I was a kid, but my son will!

  3. I cannot believe its been nearly 20 years since POTF2 came out! Lots og great stuff that still holds up today. I think that may be Mark Hamill doing the commercial voice overs. It sure sounds like him.
