Affiliate Link – Finding the Force of the Star Wars Franchise

There is one very big problem with my desire to own books in physical form: it’s tough to carry a library on international trips. As I prepare for the Nuremberg Toy Fair I find myself trying to decide what to read on the trip, and that leaves me forced to either not read some books or to buy those books in a digital format. I really want to travel light this trip — three city stops in Europe means it’s best if I’m not chasing luggage — and traveling light means no books.

No books? How would I survive a week of travel with no books?

So even though Finding the Force of the Star Wars Franchise: Fans, Merchandise, and Critics* just arrived I hesitate to truly get into the book since there may not be time to finish reading it before I leave. I may just have to get this in digital form and load it on the iPad, because spending 15 minutes flipping through to check out the various essays makes me think I’m sure to find something that gets my mind moving as I read this.

Finding the Force of the Star Wars Franchise brings together contributors who critically analyze the Star Wars universe from many perspectives.
