Third Party Prepares to Arm Jetfire and Roadbuster
The Transformers Generations Jetfire* and Roadbuster* toys are set to get new arms as third party maker UltimateFansToys (huh? we need better company names) has announced upgrade kits for the two toys.
While completely new third party transforming robots are cool, I think I may must appreciate the various upgrade kits that are created to improve on Hasbro’s official toys. These kits strike me a great thing for collectors, and oftentimes the kits feel more along the lines of third party automotive accessories when it comes to the legal situation behind third party Transformers toys.
Actually, it would be awesome to Hasbro adopt an official stance on third party items . . . much like Apple has done with guidelines for third party manufacturers. I know this is very unlikely, but it’s still great to know that a company the size of Apple has planned for (and posted guidelines for) the third party manufacturers.

I wouldn’t mind getting something for Jetfire. I always forget that this stuff is out there though, so I never order it and then miss out.
