Takara’s Triple-Flips Game Ad from 1982
Do you remember the Milton Bradley Flipsiders boardgames that I mentioned a few weeks ago? Well, Flipsiders wasn’t alone in the eighties game gimmick market, and in fact what we have today is even older than the Flipsiders cassette games.
Takara’s Triple-Flips games (see Board Game Geek) were plastic cases the each held three games. A cool idea for game packaging, and one that Takara even advertised in comic books; I scanned the below ad from a 1982 issue of DC’s Warlord series.
