Kenner’s 1981 Television Campaign Schedule
A couple of weeks ago I shared a 1982 Kenner Star Wars flyer that was retailer-focused marketing (posted here) and mentioned how it could be fun to create a book about retailer-targeted marketing for toys. Well, it is clear that Toy Fair catalogs are aimed at retailers, and the back cover of Kenner’s 1981 pre-Toy Fair catalog (mine is missing two pages which makes me sad) would be just a small part of what would get examined in such a book. I need to track down more manufacturer marketing materials from the eighties!
