“Who Needs A License Anyways?”
This ad from a 1996 issue of Tomart’s Action Figure Digest (Amazon.com search*) will bring a smile to your face when you stop and think about the irony of 1996 McFarlane Toys stating:
“Who needs a license anyways? We don’t.”
The McFarlane Toys of 1996 was clearly a dramatically different company from the one that today survives on sports, Halo, and Walking Dead action figures.
