Star Wars: Power of the Force 1999 Cantina Aliens in Lee’s Action Figure News & Toy Review
What I remember best from the 1999 Cantina Aliens* boxed set is that the Nabrun Leids action figure had weird, cheap-feeling plastic. That’s unfortunate, because other than that this was a pretty cool pack of Star Wars action figures.
I’m now starting to wonder just how many different magazines back in the nineties were running features like this one from the January, 1999 issue of Lee’s Action Figure News & Toy Review (Amazon.com search*). And, I ask, did a lot of the magazines start to feel the same since they were using publicity photos for announcements?
Actually, do a lot of the toy blogs and sites today feel the same?
