Tuesday Tunes – Beck’s “Wave”
I had completely and totally missed that Beck released a new album. That’s a terrible thing, becauce one of my best memories of travel was a day walking through Hong Kong while playing Beck’s The Information* over and over again on headphones. It was a near-surreal experience, with the music perfectly complementing the hike through the city.
Well, after checking out Morning Phase* last week I immediately bought the album and can see it as a fantastic soundtrack for air travel. I’ll find out tomorrow on the flight back to Austin, but I’m already fairly certain that it’s because of songs like “Wave” that I will find this extremely suitable for air travel. Loving this entire album!
