More Star Wars Expanded Universe Profiles
Over the weekend I posted a profiles page from a 1998 issue of Lee’s Action Figure News and Toy Review (Amazon.com search*) that showcased three of the nine 1998 Star Wars Expanded Universe action figures. Awesome read, and today I see no reason not to share another page and continue the look at that 1998 subline of Kenner Star Wars action figures.
I’m now starting to dig a little deeper into the 1998 Expanded Universe action figure and vehicle series from Kenner, and what I am uncovering is that there actually isn’t much information on the line out there. I’ve searched for reviews and magazine articles/blog posts, searched multiple times, and for some reason the twelve toys in the series have never been all that well documented or explored. Did this line suffer by coming between the 1997 Special Edition films and the 1999 prequel release?

I’ve got quite a few older toylines I want to do reviews for (Sigma 6- my favorite ever!), the Mattel Judge Dredd and Cyberforce minifigures, and these figures). Maybe when there’s a lull in new stuff…
