Latest Star Wars Action Figures Sold Out
This is insane. According to a post by Andrewztoyz Hasbro has cancelled the new Star Wars five points of articulation action figures that I’ve only recently given a chance. That struck me as entirely wrong . . . and fortunately it is not completely accurate.
According to this yakfaceforums.com post Hasbro have clarified: The current waves are sold-out and there are not plans to go back into production with the current wave of action figures.
What this means is I need to make a decision: Grab them all as I find them, or cherry pick and hope for the best? Damn, it’s great to see these selling so well but sucks they aren’t selling well enough that Hasbro will run more of these exact action figures.

Oh goodness, I really want to pickup the AT-DP driver, I have the vehicle with no figure for it. I’m on a plane to the States in a couple days and will hopefully be able to find one, fingers and toes crossed. Shame they won’t do another run, the impression I’ve got is that few people who wanted them could find them.
@Derek – If I see another AT-DP Driver I’ll grab it and sit on it. If you cannot find one then maybe I can help you out.
Wonderful, please do, just shout if you find one. Thank you!
I barely saw them! Chopper is already stupid pricey on the secondary market! Oh no…this news sucks!
@Matthew Miller – Still no Chopper for me. The vehicles are also tougher to find than I had expected.
Phil — are there any in particular you are after? I can keep an eye out over here in AU.
The Rebels figures never even made it to my Walmart. That might be their fault though, since even the TMNT section is empty right now.
Also, current waves are sold out, but won’t be put back into production. How is that not considered discontinued? Does it just mean the figures might be repackaged?
