Over the last few years I’ve collected dozens of Gentle Giant’s Star Wars Jumbo Vintage action figures (Amazon.com search*); the classic designs upsized to create collectible toys are wonderful, and I still hold out hope that Gentle Giant will create at least a Landspeeder or Mini-Rig at this large size.
And later this year Gentle Giant brings the G.I. Joe line to a larger size. The company is taking Hasbro’s 1982 toys and bringing us bigger versions, the first of which is the G.I. Joe Rock N Roll Jumbo Vintage-Style Action Figure* releasing in July. Awesome. I will not be collecting this line, but I will be appreciating it from a distance.
