ESSO Robot Racer Ad from 1986
You may remember the ESSO Robot Racer toys I posted a week or so ago. Well, I started thinking about it and came to the conclusion that there was very likely a newspaper ad out there somewhere promoting these toys. Yep. Both the December 9 and December 17, 1986 issues of the Ottawa Citizen carried this wonderful ad offering the toys for just $0.49/each when buying gas. Damn! That’s a cheap transforming robot toy price to beat all prices!!!
