Masters of the Universe Bashasaurus Patent

In his 2005 book (Mastering the Universe*) Roger Sweet offers his thoughts on the birth and death of the Masters of the Universe toyline, going so far as to even give us info (and opinions) on different toys in the line. Of Bashasaurus Sweet writes:

“This concept gave me more headaches than any other single Masters item prior to the Masters re-launch. The product was, in short, a disaster.”

I’m sorry to hear that because the design is wonderful. Fortunately, the toy patent can be enjoyed regardless of the toy’s success or failure in 1985. Click through for all nine pages, and then see the Bashasaurus page at he-man.org for pics of the finished toy.
