1988 BattleTechnology Magazine
FASA’s BattleTech game and world (Amazon.com search*) was one I spent great amounts of time with back in the late eighties, and today’s peek at an ad from 1988 and Space Gamer magazine sure brings back memories.
BattleTechnology was a short-lived magazine dedicated to BattleTech (Wikipedia entry), and I can remember being totally underwhelmed the first time I got my hands on a copy of the magazine. Nifty idea, but for some reason it never quite entertained me the way that Autoduel Quarterly and Challenge used to. Still, it’s great to see this ad. Makes me want to read an old BattleTech novel or two for fun.
