1985 Robotech “Robot Store” Comic Book Advertisement
Do you really need me to tell you that this 1985 Robotech ad from a Comico Robotech comic is a chance to relive the eighties? I wasn’t all that familiar with Robotech when this ad was new, but I have always loved robots and cannot say often enough how great these designs look.
I’m betting the hardcore Robotech series (Amazon.com search*) fans have had this image burned into their brains for decades now. For some of us, like me, this is a look at something we may have missed out on years ago. And “The Robot Store?” I wanna go there!

I had the Autobot Jetfire that was more or less a veritech fighter. It had the added bonus of being an official Transformer! I really wanted a Cyclone though–those seemed impossible to find. 🙁
