Awwww. Fans of Mattel’s Hot Wheels toy cars (Amazon.com search*) who were kids in the eighties may remember this 1982 commercial for the six car gift pack. A bit cheesy, yes, but also so very adorable that parents had no choice but to buy a kid home sick a Hot Wheels car or two. Good move, Mattel!
