“Drones in 2090” for Interface Zero
Last week, as I continue experimenting with Medium, I wrote a short article about drones in the Interface Zero* cyberpunk roleplaying game. The article, Drones in 2090, was inspired by various online articles and even a great piece of artwork, and so far I’ve been amazed at the amount of traffic the article has received at the Medium site.
An even greater surprise hit me when I was invited to contribute the article to the Wire-Head publication on Medium. One of the features at the Medium are their “publications”, overall groupings of articles that are reader-driven virtual magazines or blogs.
I’ve looked at Medium a few times now as a more stable and reliable place for battlegrip.com content, but so far all I’ve learned is that I have a lot left to learn. These small experiments are educational, but it’s going to be a long time before I know enough about Medium to make any decisions.
Anyway, if you’d like a quick cyberpunk-inspired read today check Drones in 2090. It’s all speculative and without any game stats, so think of it as a peek at one possible future for drone technology in our world. Enjoy!
