1997 Stratego Advertisement from Boys’ Life
Yesterday’s look at a 2005 lawsuit over the Stratego board game (Amazon.com search*) inspired me to look around online for some more Stratego info from the past. Well, all it took was a quick peek inside the Google magazine archives to find this November, 1997, issue of Boys’ Life and this ad for the Stratego game.
The odd blend of aliens and the Napoleonic Stratego game leaves me confused. And now I let you decide why this ad happened in the way that it did. Odd choices were made, but at least the ad is entertaining.
