Most Dangerous Toys of 1978
Earlier this year I shared a 1984 newspaper article in which Edward Swartz, author of Toys That Kill*, shared his 10 most dangerous toys. Well, here’s a 1978 article from the Associated Press in which that year’s toys are listed. Shogun Warriors and Battlestar Galactica toys both made the list this year; kinda sad considering what eventually happened with the Battlestar Galactica toys and toy safety.
What is odd is that this article credits “Edmund” Swartz, but all the digging I’ve done lists his name as Edward. I guess someone made a mistake.
