“G.I. Joe figures keep the adventure alive” in 1983
This 1983 newspaper ad is one for all of the children of the eighties who were fans of Hasbro’s G.I. Joe action figure series (Amazon.com search*). A Sears advertisement from when I was eleven years old, this G.I. Joe appearance almost escaped me as I was scanning through the newspaper; I guess if Sears had bothered to show the Cobra Command Headquarters in the ad I would have instantly spotted this small block.
