Creepy Crawlers Commercial

Even though I had a lot of unnecessary toys when I was a kid, I never had Creepy Crawlers, those weird playsets that allowed you to create your own monsters. Wikipedia has an entry on the toys and I was surprised to find out that these were first released in 1964. And there was even a cartoon! I guess all that makes this 1978 commercial a little tame, but it’s still a fun reminder of my childhood watching Saturday morning cartoons and wanting every toy that was advertised. I was a dumb kid.
