With Star Wars: The Force Awakens opening next month, we’re seeing lots of speculations and rumors fly around the web as to what happens in Disney’s first Star Wars movie. What a different time it is today relative to a decade ago when Revenge of the Sith was released, and if we look even deeper into the past then we see that how fans engage with films has changed dramatically since Return of the Jedi in 1983.
For example, back in 1983 we couldn’t go on our computers to search older newspapers for Star Wars articles (I didn’t even own a computer then).
