Talon Fighter and Dragon Walker Ad from 1984
After last week’s ad for the Mattel Masters of the Universe Dragon Walker toy it seemed fitting that I continue digging for more ads featuring the odd vehicle. The Dragon Walker must have been quite popular, either that or retailers were having a tough time selling it which is why we can find so many newspaper ads that show off the vehicle. Regardless of why, it’s kinda cool to keep uncovering these: Today’s find is from the December 6, 1984, issue of the Toledo Blade and even includes an ad for the Talon Fighter toy. Someone, get busy archiving all of these old Masters of the Universe newspaper ads so that it’s easy for us to find them in the future!

it’s kind of insane how cheap these were back then. every time i see this stuff I want a time machine to go back and buy them at those prices!
